Rock-ety Rocks

Updated: Dec 21, 2022

We have the most amazing rocks at Pleasant Pasture. They are a large part of what makes the land so magical. Their variety is beyond measure: size, shape, location, color and texture – each one is uniquely beautiful.

We may take rocks for granted, forgetting that they contain powerful energy and potential. Rocks have gravitational energy, energy stored in their chemical bonds and molecules, electrical charge, and according to the theory of relativity (E=mc^2) the mass of a rock is energy itself.

Crystals and minerals are in items we use everyday like radios, computers, smart phones and even pharmaceuticals.

The unassuming, ever-present nature of rocks can cause us to forget their tremendous conducting and healing power.

We will be engaging in a rock ceremony as part of the Summer Solstice Celebration. The

ceremony will be led by Erica Bowman of Boho Energy and Lisa Pennington. Boho Energy is a movement to align yourself to your true nature through Reiki, Meditation Teachings, and Children's Yoga. Lisa shared about her part in the rock ceremony: "I felt drawn

immediately to attend the solstice event at the farm. A call went out asking for volunteers and I didn't hesitate in responding. I guess I can attribute that to listening to my inner voice ~ intuition. Looking forward to sharing in this special celebration with all you beautiful souls!"

Hug a rock today!
