Paint your way to happiness

Art heals. Creative activities grow self-esteem, self-awareness, improve brain function, cultivate emotional resilience and slows down aging.

“To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.” — Kurt Vonnegut

I think of how the Sanctuary animals practice creativity – the hogs love to ‘redecorate’ their pens with hay and straw, the cattle are endlessly curious and have a rich inner life, while the cats are constantly finding new ways to interact and entertain themselves.

Friday April 22nd we are offering an opportunity to be creative and make memories with like mind individuals at our Henrietta the Highland Heifer paint and sip fund raiser. Don’t miss the chance to create, network, laugh and do good. PLUS you get to take your own version of Henrietta home with you. See you there!

“The only time I feel alive is when I’m painting.” — Vincent Van Gogh
