Love Heals All

Being vulnerable here....Pleasant Pasture 'officially' started December 2018. Three months later I was in a car accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The Sanctuary went dormant for over 2 years.

The healing, unconditional love of my furry/hairy friends helped immensely on the road to recovery - I could not have done it without them!

I am sharing this because in the beautiful article about Pleasant Pasture published last week, this 'incident' is mentioned, and I realized how powerful the healing love of our residents is, and how visitors to the farm experience this same power. In the article as it is referred to as: 'finding peace' at Pleasant Pasture.

Even though I was absent for almost 2 years and very little communication was shared about the Sanctuary, now that we have opened the barn doors to other animal lovers, they are here to support and encourage us - as if no time has passed.

Love is a beautiful thing.
