Do animal siblings care about each other?

Katherine Fossler

TWO articles that are absolutely fascinating:

At the Sanctuary we have the honor of watching the daily interactions of different animal families. Feline sisters Speck and Peck are inseparable, as are feline brothers, Butch and Bill.

The sibling pairs often nap together, groom each other or just hang in the same part of the barn - definitely sharing a special connection.

The two cattle families at the Sanctuary often eat and chew their cud in separate family units as well, seeming to enjoy each other's companionship.

The 6 hog siblings still sleep together in one hut every night as they have done for the last 4 years - it's getting tight in there and hog pile becomes a reality - but obviously comfort is less important than sleeping together.

Regardless who or what your bestie is - give them a HUG today!
