Update: Sanctuary Cat Colony.
Everyone endured the long winter and are feeling frisky in the spring air and
sunshine!
We've unplugged the heated houses and watering dishes, are adding 3 more litter boxes and doing spring wellness checks and ear mite treatments soon.
The ONE time of day we get to see most of the Colony is breakfast - when everyone knows we are serving yummy canned wet food!
The number of cats fluctuates daily, but core group remains at 10:
Midnight / Speck / Peck / Momma / Baby Momma / Fat Tail / Butch 2.0 / Billy-the-kid / Lil Sis and Purr Machine
Daily/weekly visitors include:
Daddy, Big Red and others - we are sure of it!
There are minor tussles over the coveted wet food, but for the most part, everyone gets along really well. The Colony is excited for Farm Tours to begin in June - they always steal the show, delighting young and old alike!
