In 2024, Pleasant Pasture inspired hope and kindness for both animals and families, fostering enduring change through love and compassion.
We assist animals and their devoted humans in three distinct ways:
1) Permanent Placement, a forever home at our Sanctuary
28 Animals Secured Permanent Sanctuary
We welcomed 28 animals into our sanctuary, ensuring they receive lifelong care, nourishment, medical attention, and family. Among them was Gary, a senior cat who lost his owner. Today, he thrives in the warmth and safety of his forever home with us.
2) Finding new homes through Adoption
26 Pets Rehomed with Loving Families
Through careful matching, 26 pets found new homes filled with love and happiness. Charlie, a playful pit bull mix, was rehomed after her owner faced an unexpected move. Now, she brightens the days of a child who calls her “best friend.”
3) Direct Connection of family needing to surrender and family adopting
231 Families Supported in Times of Need
For 231 families forced to part with their pets, we became a source of hope. Families like the Martinezes, who could no longer care for their pet pot belly pig Anna, found comfort knowing she’s thriving in a loving new spacious backyard.
These achievements reflect our mission to create a kinder world for animals and people. Thanks to our supporters, we changed countless lives in 2024 and look forward to an even brighter 2025!
